Description

This apple cinnamon oatmeal bowl is a warm, wholesome breakfast made with hearty oats, fresh apples, and cozy fall spices—ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 medium apple, diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (or butter)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, nut butter, Greek yogurt, chia seeds

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring almond milk to a gentle boil.
  2. Stir in oats, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, heat coconut oil in a skillet. Add diced apples, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add vanilla extract and salt to oats; stir well.
  5. Fold sautéed apples into the oatmeal.
  6. Spoon into bowls and top with your favorite additions.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra protein, add a scoop of protein powder or a spoonful of almond butter.

Use gluten-free oats if needed.

To make it vegan, use plant-based milk and skip any dairy toppings.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days—reheat with a splash of milk.
