  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping, shredding, and mixing the sauce.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and slightly crispy.

4. Push beef aside and sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.

5. Mix everything together to combine flavors.

6. Add carrots and stir fry for 2 minutes.

7. Add shredded cabbage and cook for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.

8. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well.

9. Cook for 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens.

10. Drizzle sesame oil and mix.

11. Adjust seasoning if needed.

12. Let rest for 2–3 minutes.

13. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
