Description

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels
2. Place wings in a bowl and add baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili flakes
3. Drizzle olive oil and toss until evenly coated
4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, placing a wire rack on top
5. Arrange wings in a single layer without touching
6. Bake for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy
7. In a saucepan over low heat, combine hot honey, butter, honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar
8. Stir for 3–5 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened
9. Transfer baked wings to a bowl and toss with hot honey sauce
10. (Optional) Return wings to oven for 5 minutes for extra caramelization
11. Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds and serve hot
Notes
- Pat wings very dry for maximum crispiness
- Use an air fryer at 400°F for 20–25 minutes as an alternative
- Adjust heat level by adding more or less hot sauce
- Do not skip baking powder—it ensures crispy skin
