Description

This Decadent Oreo Icebox Cake is a no-bake layered dessert made with Oreo cookies, fluffy whipped cream, rich chocolate pudding, and silky ganache. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, date nights, or make-ahead celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • ¼ cup chocolate shavings (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup crushed Oreos (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk instant pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thick. Let sit 5 minutes to set.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract and pinch of salt; mix well.
  4. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  6. Arrange a layer of Oreo cookies in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over cookies.
  8. Spread chocolate pudding evenly over cream cheese layer.
  9. Add another layer of Oreos on top.
  10. Spread remaining cream cheese mixture over cookies.
  11. Top with remaining whipped cream and smooth evenly.
  12. Heat ½ cup heavy cream until steaming; pour over chocolate chips and let sit 2 minutes.
  13. Stir ganache until smooth and drizzle over whipped cream layer.
  14. Garnish with chocolate chips, shavings, crushed Oreos, or strawberries.
  15. Cover and refrigerate 6–8 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
