Ingredients
- 1.5 lb beef sirloin or stew meat, cubed
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms (optional)
- 2 cups baby potatoes (optional)
Instructions
1. Cut beef into bite-sized cubes and pat dry.
2. (Optional) Sear beef in olive oil for 1–2 minutes per side.
3. Place beef in crockpot and add garlic and seasonings.
4. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.
5. Add mushrooms and potatoes if using.
6. Distribute butter evenly over the beef.
7. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
8. Stir gently 30 minutes before serving and adjust seasoning.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
