This refreshing green detox smoothie is hydrating, nourishing, and naturally energizing. Made with spinach, banana, pineapple, cucumber, and coconut water, it’s the perfect start to any day or post-workout refuel.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup peeled cucumber
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3/4 cup cold coconut water
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Add spinach and coconut water to the blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add banana, pineapple, cucumber, lemon juice, and ginger (if using). Blend again until creamy.
- Taste and adjust: add more lemon for brightness or banana for sweetness.
- Add chia seeds last and pulse to combine (optional).
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Notes
You can substitute kale or romaine for spinach.
For added protein, include 1 scoop of your preferred protein powder.
To meal prep, store pre-measured ingredients in freezer bags for quick blending.
