This refreshing green detox smoothie is hydrating, nourishing, and naturally energizing. Made with spinach, banana, pineapple, cucumber, and coconut water, it’s the perfect start to any day or post-workout refuel.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup peeled cucumber
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3/4 cup cold coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add spinach and coconut water to the blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add banana, pineapple, cucumber, lemon juice, and ginger (if using). Blend again until creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust: add more lemon for brightness or banana for sweetness.
  4. Add chia seeds last and pulse to combine (optional).
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

You can substitute kale or romaine for spinach.
