Description

Light and flavorful honey garlic chicken lettuce wraps with crisp texture and sweet savory glaze.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb chicken breast, diced

1/4 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

2 green onions, chopped

1 carrot, shredded

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 head lettuce (iceberg or romaine)

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. Cut chicken into small pieces

2. Marinate with honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil for 15 minutes

3. Wash and dry lettuce leaves

4. Heat oil in skillet and cook chicken 7–10 minutes until golden

5. Add carrots, bell pepper, and green onions and cook 2–3 minutes

6. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves

7. Top with cilantro and chili flakes and serve immediately

Notes

  • Store filling separately from lettuce
  • Use low sodium soy sauce if preferred
  • Add extra vegetables for variation
