Description

Hot Honey Chicken Avocado Rice Bowl is a high protein healthy meal with juicy chicken, creamy avocado, fluffy rice, and a sweet spicy hot honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 400g), sliced
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice (jasmine or brown)
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or light sauce

Instructions

1. Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.

2. Mix soy sauce, garlic, paprika, chili flakes, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken for 10–15 minutes.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden.

4. Reduce heat and add hot honey. Stir and cook 1–2 minutes until thick and glossy.

5. Prepare rice and keep warm.

6. Assemble bowl with rice as the base, then add chicken on top.

7. Add avocado, cucumber, carrots, and other toppings.

8. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and optional yogurt or sauce. Serve immediately.
