  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil leaves (handful)
  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sausage or prosciutto (optional)
  • Cornmeal for dusting

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and place pizza stone inside if using

2. Lightly flour surface and stretch pizza dough into desired shape

3. Transfer dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel dusted with cornmeal

4. Brush dough lightly with olive oil and spread tomato sauce evenly, leaving a border

5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce
