Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a rich, cheesy baked dish featuring juicy chicken topped with a creamy ranch layer, melted cheese, and a crispy parmesan breadcrumb crust.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish
2. Season chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
3. Bake chicken for 20–25 minutes until nearly cooked through
4. Mix cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth
5. In another bowl, combine parmesan, panko, melted butter, and Italian seasoning
6. Remove chicken from oven and spread cream cheese mixture on top
7. Add provolone and mozzarella cheese evenly
8. Press parmesan breadcrumb mixture on top of each piece
9. Return to oven and bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and cooked through
10. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness
11. Rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve
