- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated turmeric or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ½ cup ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and grate fresh turmeric and ginger if using.
- Add almond milk to blender first.
- Add Greek yogurt, pineapple, banana, turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, chia seeds, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Adjust thickness with more almond milk or ice as needed.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup if extra sweetness is desired.
- Blend briefly again if adding sweetener.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
