A simple and comforting one pot spaghetti with rich meat sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
1. Chop onion and garlic, prepare all ingredients.
2. Heat olive oil and cook ground beef until browned. Season and set aside.
3. Sauté garlic and onion until soft and fragrant.
4. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, seasoning, and cooked beef. Simmer.
5. Pour in water or broth and bring to a boil.
6. Add spaghetti and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
7. Let rest, then top with Parmesan and fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Use broth instead of water for deeper flavor.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add extra cheese before serving for richness.
