Let’s get cooking, my friend! 👩🍳🔥

Ingredients:
For the chicken:
- 1 lb (450 g) boneless chicken thighs or breast, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
For the noodles:
- 10 oz (280 g) egg noodles (or ramen/rice noodles)
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 small red chili (optional, for heat), sliced
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
To finish:
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Fresh cilantro or basil leaves (optional)

Step-by-Step Directions:
- Marinate the chicken. In a bowl, combine sliced chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let it sit for 10 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.
- Cook the noodles. Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook the noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, chicken broth, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
- Cook the chicken. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
- Sauté the garlic. Add remaining oil to the same pan. Toss in minced garlic (and chili if using). Cook for 30–40 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
- Make it sticky! Pour in the prepared sauce and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Bring it all together. Return the chicken to the pan along with the cooked noodles. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sticky garlic sauce.
- Garnish & serve. Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the glossy, garlicky goodness.
